Help!

Hi Folks....

Can anyone give me any help with an eventual registry office marriage in the UK

Here is a quick brief on my story so far!

I will be going to divorce my current wife within the next few months she, is a UK national by the way! (she left me and our 3 kids due to her on going affair.)

But in between all of this i met a school teacher (via the internet) by the name of Mary, who lives in Butuan!....We get on very well indeed!!!

We have been chatting for a couple of months now! and if things continue the way they are for another couple of months, i will travel to Butuan to meet her in person!....We are currently gathering proof of relationship!

But for us to marry in the UK, what are the correct procedures for us to follow? What visas are required? What other corresponding paperwork/forms are needed? Do i need to complete a sponsorship letter? Do i need to travel to
Manila to present proof of relationship or can it be posted?

So many questions eh!!!!....lol

But if anyone can start me off in the right direction i would be more than grateful....i know all the answers to many of these questions are probably staring me straight in the face!!..lol!.... but i don't have that much time to trawl through the forum as i have my kids to chase after!!!....lol

This is the first requirement and most important.

The proof of relationship is more longwinded than just emails or chat transcripts.
That can cover, plane ticket stubs, or boarding passes, photos together at different times, hotel receipts. And not just for one trip over.
But you will have to be patient and after the kids have gone to bed, use the search function, because this subject has been covered extensively in the past...
And after Livepool getting a drubbing yesterday in the FA cup,:rolleyes: Mr Admin ain't going to be too pleased to see the same questions posted time and time again....
