Where I am now, business tax is better in the UK than most other places, and it's nice in the countryside. Still spend more time out of here in the winter though, probably in the US deserts.

I will take over the UK in a few years time (insert evil laugh) and then invade the phillpines then make the worlds biggest tug boat and turn both into a humoungous floating carvan and travel around the worlds seas.

Both parts of the family together and if its to hot in phill can move way from the equator and if to cold move nearer to the line.

I've lived in london for 8 years or so, and I think that is enough :Help1:. Switzerland (where I start work next week :Help1: :Help1: )is lower tax (around 16%) and better public transport, cheaper apartments, etc etc so I am looking forward to that.

Philippines is a good place to retire, but hopeless for business. I'm sure I'll work in other countries - I would not want to be anywhere 'permanently' - I hope I'll have bases dotted around the world  (fat chance).

Hmmmm, in 15 years I will be 65 so, I imagine some of my time in UK to make use of the health service if there is still a National Health Service etc, but hopefully with good health I will be able to stay in the Phils and any minor health issues I would rather pay and get sorted quickly in the Phils than wait months or years and be passed from pillar to post in UK

There is no doubt that I want to be in the Philippines full time in much less than 15 years. It is really good to have something worthwhile to work for, and a great feeling that maybe I can make a difference for the better in this World after all.

I am bored of being cynical - and Phili has been my cure.
