So I take it the A380 wont be coming to Manila till November 2018 then. I think our friend Alfonso Cusi is a bit optimistic about China Airlines flying A380's into Manila - they haven't ordered any!!! They are still to decide whether its the 748 or A380...or maybe Alfonso knows something we don't?

They are just waiting you retire so that you will be confortable going to Manila to terminal 3... Alfonso is taking care of you.
But you will be able soon to go to Manila is an A380 (at least for a part) from Heathrow:
From March 18 via Singapore Changi airport (Singapore Airlines)
From December 1 via Dubai (Emirates)
But don't dream, it will be only for the 1st leg, not the second one going to Manila (or Cebu).
And Cardiff-Wales airport, capable of A380 :wiggle: ??

Well, the main BA Maintenance Base is at Cardiff-Wales, so for sure the runway is 747/777 compliant. Runway 1 12/30 is 7487 foot long, would that be enough for an A380? I would imagine so. :Erm:
