Hi Peoples.
I'm going out to meet my girlfriend in a few weeks (again).
Is there anywhere we can get a bus or train to outside Manila where it is quieter, fresher air and not so far? I am only there for 4 or 5 days so don't want to spend too long travelling. Not fussed if it is in the country or by the sea.
Oh - yes - it would be a bonus if it was about 15 degrees C. (maybe asking for too much there!).
cheers,

head down to Lake Taal, up to Subic Bay or bit further maybe 5 hours to Baguio(in the mountains and a good bit cooler).

You could try Tagaytay, around three hours by bus from Manila. Lots of fresh air and good scenery.

Why not go to pagsanjan and shoot the rapids? Also lovely resorts nearby.
