Hi Guys
Just thought i would drop in to see whats going on :):Hellooo:
Baby Cj is generally good but is now having to get used to not having my sister in law about since the people who issue visas deported her :cwm23:and told us that she cant extend her visa and they dont see why we need her here :Brick: despite pointing out i work a 50 hr week and since jasmine died, Nerissa she has been his primary carer) which to look after a dependant relative she should now apply for a work permit to do this:Brick: chances of a domestic help getting a visa for this country:NoNo::doh
apparently i could get up to him 3 times a night and still be up at 6 to go to work oh and be alert enough to attend meetings etc :NoNo:
i think i have found the answer the people there are superhuman, dont need sleep and have endless energy the result of these super powers though is that common sense as it appies to mere mortals no longer works
next move is to loose our home give up my job and apply for a council bedsit and benifits so i can be a fulltime carer and burden to the decent hard working folk of the country
Apparently a signature on a document allowing sister in law to be fully paid for and supported by me at no cost to the state was worth far more
:Cuckoo: Me bitter ....surely not:Rasp:

:D, i've thought about that in the past, getting me misses aunt to come and look after our daughter, but knowing how difficult that would be i didn't even try. but now we've got little joe, not even 18 months old and hes wrecking the house :CompBuster:, i've even thought of sending him to the phils to my misses aunt :D...

as for looking after a baby/toddler, my misses gets up everynight to get his milk, works, cooks, cleans, studies , :yikes:, superhuman she is, of course a filipina :xxgrinning--00xx3:

but hes off to a childminder we use for 5 hours a day, while my wife works

I would suggest you take the baby to a Day-Care Center that is local or go to a social services so they can fund a place for the Day Care. Surely, they would know that your situation is a difficult one. I hope you'll find a solution for this without having to give up your job as you well need it to raise the little lad. God bless!

Really sorry to hear what you have been going through Dave65. The way the system does not work for people who genuinely need it to is unfathomable. don't give up the fight; a way always comes long. God bless you and you little one! T

the child care element of working tax credits is based on your earning, you could end up getting nothing. but its worth a try or see if your employer can give you childcare vouchers, as mentioned b4..

Surely your MP can help if he/she does her job correctly.
