I was sitting at my PC an hour or so ago, playing Football Manager 2008 - and Oldham lost (Once again.)
I therefore quite rightly, as their manager, lambasted their utterly disgraceful performance against Coventry, with such erudite literary phrases such as: 'Goodness me chaps, you really must do better than this' and 'Heavens above gentlemen, that was not one of your better performances now, was it?'
Then Hanna turned to me and said: 'Never mind honey, it's only a game.'
ONLY A GAME????? IT'S FOOTBALL!!!!!!!!!!!
Ladies and gentlemen of the forum - my question is simple and thus:-
Did I make a big mistake marrying Hanna??????????:doh

As a gooner I've suffered too much stress this season. I think I'll focus on my wife, that should be less stressful :xxgrinning--00xx3::xxgrinning--00xx3::xxgrinning--00xx3:

Some people think football is a matter of life and death...I can assure them it is much more serious than that."

This football playing is all luck, they kick the ball up and down the pitch, sometimes someone is lucky enough to kick it in the goal...and they're considered heroes for doing so!:yikes:

It's only a game if it's Oldham v Coventry :BouncyHappy::icon_lol::icon_lol::BouncyHappy:
Perhaps we should all get back to treating it as a game, it has become so serious these days with the influx of so much money. Everyone wants their manager sacked. They wanted Curbishly out last game and he has moved West Ham away from the trap door. Ludicrous :omg:

Well the proof is in the pudding so yes, that is right at the moment but we are improving and breathing down their necks more each year, it's only a matter of time. :xxgrinning--00xx3:
