was married recently and now going through the spouse visa application.
but im not so sure what to include in my working experience because i used to work in a porn site.i fall inlove with a loving and understanding man from uk so we get married and left the shameful work i had.shame to tell here about what i do before but living in the philippines is not so easy, especially when u have family whom you support.ihope i will get some advice from you guys in here,as i really really want to join my husband and missing him so much.
will my work background will affect my application as it was illegal in the philippines?
and about the questions on the visa form 6.8.11 Do you receive income from any other sources, including friends or family? 6.8.12 Do you have any savings, property or other income,
for example, from stocks and shares?
should i state here the income i got the site i used to work in?

i will very much appreciate any advice.
thank you

Hi and welcome Shift.

I don' believe you have to declare your previous work. You are no longer working there so its disclosure and any associated income is irrelevant in my opinion.

Regarding other income for yourself, if your hubby supports you that is a plus. If you don't have any of the others, i.e. stocks property etc. its fine. I think the key thing is your hubbys financial position with regards to those things.

Good luck.

thank you so much piamed

im very confused now of the application to be submitted.
i have read in this forum that the documents from sponsor should be in original copy.my husband sent me his bank statements, pay slips,p60 and details of the house, his passport copies, drivers license scanned and sent to my email, then i just printed it.will the ukvacs accept this as it is scanned copy only?

Hey no shame i would not mention what you did in phill in your visa application, not because i think it would hinder your application. But no need to make a paper trail of what you did in the past.

Unless you declared the income to the phill tax office (i somehow doubt you did) then forget it and just say you were unemployed.

Take care and i hope things work out for you both

hi shift,

congratulations on ur wedding..:Hellooo::Hellooo:

anyways, when I applied for my visa last September 2007 (fiancee visa) I didnt mention to the embassy anything about my work or work experience because I believe they are more keen to know if ur hubby can really support u when u come here in the UK..so nothing to worry about it and since u dont have to mention ur work of course u dont need to state any income there..:xxgrinning--00xx3:

thank you so much piamed

when I applied everything is almost original aside from his passport and driver's license..it will be better for u to follow what is stated on the VFS website so there's no way for the ECo to deny ur application..

Goodluck and congratz again..Cheers..:)
