Now im confused

hi everyone!! pls enlighten me, im worried about the answer i gave to 6.4.2and 6.4.3 questions that goes this way respectively:

When did you first meet your sponsor?
I answered: 02/2007 that was the time we meet in person

Where did you first meet?
I answered: NAIA-Airport that was the place where i met him in person

Im confused coz maybe i should have answered: Nov.11,06 the day when he sent me an email, but i havent actually met him tht time right? and maybe i answered i met him on the net...im really confused...coz i read a thread and it confuses me a lot. can anyone tell me if i answered those 2 questions correctly or how did they answered those questions?

When did you first meet your sponsor? When did your relationship begin?

This question refers to the first time you met your sponsor in person, and not the first time you "met" on the internet. In the traditional view maintained by many ECO's, people first meet in person and a relationship ensues sometime after that. In a contemporary view that embraces the internet, people begin a relationship before they actually meet in person. We suggest sticking with the traditional view for this series of questions whilst simultaneously not concealing anything of relevance.

Have you lived with your sponsor in a relationship like a marriage...?

This question has also been treated with suspicion by fiances, and shouldn't be. This information helps the ECO determine if the marriage is a sham or not. In a sham marriage, the two parties typically have no history of cohabitation. If you have cohabited (lived together), even for a holiday or short visit, it is worth recording it here. Of course this question is not the sole determinant of a sham marriage, and if you have no history of co-habitation with your fiance, it should be recorded here honestly.

When my wife was preparing her visa application, I emailed the British Embassy in Manila asking for clarification for this and some of the other questions. Their answer for this particular question was very clear and as Joe said they mean by this, when you first actually met in person.

I wouldn't worry even if you did put the wrong answer there, i'm sure the embassy knows what you and others mean, its a common mistake, poor form design, the old ones were alot clearer..

this question and the one about have you been married b4, catches many people out, i doubt they have ever failed any visa app for these questions :D

they will fail it for other major reasons, no money, no where to live or scam marriage :D
