recommendation letters from friends..would it be helpful?

My hubby wants to ask if it would be helpful for my application if he will ask his friends (around 3 people, 1 doctor, 1 lawyer and 1 good friend) to give a recommendation or character reference?

i would always supply as much info/evidence as you can, but i don't see how a letter from them would help you.. but you never know :rolleyes:
