Vanessa handed in her visa application today, the process was painless after all the nerves before hand, the staff were very friendly and helpful.
I hope this helps those of you preparing your visa applications feel a little less nervous about handing in the application.
Now the waiting begins, they quoted a minimum of 1 month maximum of three before we hear the result.

Hi Sconnie :)
Did you send all your documents to your wife in Phils? If yes, how did you send them to your Mahal, which courier?
Did she fly to Manila by herself? Where did she stay?
So, you were not in Phils for this?
Sorry for many questions, we will do this in the next few months or so :cwm24:

I sent all the documents in 2 lots by ordinary airmail a risk I know but both packages arrived within 5 days safe and sound.
She lives in Manila so no transport or hotel required.
I don't have enough holiday left this year to travel again I used my holidays in January and then April for the wedding.

APOSHARK,

I sent the documents to my asawa via Fedx took 3 working days and cost about £50ish

She got them safe and sound.

I have sent stuff via normal Airsure and it took over 2 weeks.

Fedex is the best way but is a little bit expensive.

Goodluck

Best wishes to you and Vanessa. Don't get too frustrated if things are slower than you expected. Efficiency is definitely not the name of the game at the British Embassy. John & Cristina
