Hello everybody especially to win2win’s girl members:D

I just wanna ask your opinion about love and career?
How you balance it? Are there circumstances that you need to choose?

I’m considering the quote that “dump career just to be the one you love!” :Erm::Erm::Erm::rolleyes:

Maybe to answer my questions and sharing some of your experiences will inspires me achieving both :xxgrinning--00xx3::Help1:

well for me i prefer to have both which it doesn't mean you have to go more over with your career NOR to forget your loved ones. It has to be an equal balance of handling things. Yeah as it depends as well of two both, for instance your husband prefer you to stay home and let him do all the job works..well...thats fine if he has lots to look after you good that which no need for you to look for one, on the other hand eventhough still we girls do loved to work as its one of so many ways as well to cope up the loneliness that real drives us crazy to stay home all day/nite. So with that its only between the couple on how they are going to manage that sort of circumstances as both has its own reason. Whatever is best and easiest for both then go for it. Its just need a balance of understanding and respect in order to come up with the good outcomes without feeling sorry to the other party.

But ye of course you have to set a time for your husband/family and always put them on top of your priority...

you can do both, my wife works and looks after the kids :D

why can you not do, here what you do in the phils :Erm:

you do whats best for you both, i'm thinking of packing work in, and looking after little joe til he's school age, becuase my wife can earn a lot more than i can.

my wife works parttime with someone, her husband earns over £100,000 a year, his wife wants to quit work, he will not let her :NoNo: if she wants to quit, whats he going to do :action-smiley-081:

career first..love will then follow after having a good career...nowadays, young people want stability, where old people want career..(that's my honest opinion)

A difficult decision but I think the dilemma is one that can face the husband or wife. I have a good job with high earning potential but have to travel a great deal. I definitely don't plan to travel as much when Pia is here as I married her because I want to have a regular home life with her flushed with quality time.

My company is aware of my pending priority change and my plans to travel less. As long as I can still do well against my performance measures all will be well. Failing that, if I can find a less well paid job where I can come home every night yet still afford 1 or 2 excesses from time to time :D I will go for it.

Ultimately, its a trade-off. Quality family time vs. careeer. My wife and family come first.

A good career is hard to come by, and you only may get one chance in life......whereas Filipina's are two-a-penny and can be changed much easier than a career.....
