Hi everyone, just been on Google earth, Manila has been recovered and is much more clearly visible than before. The airport is in great detail as are most of the main city areas, down to enough detail to see the cars...

I still could not find Oxford suites Makati, where I stayed on there.. It all looks the same unless you know which landmarks to look at.

Does this attachment help locate anything? (rename it to KMZ instead of ZIP). Then double-click it to open in Google Earth.

[Keith, if you read this, is it possible to allow uploading of KMZ files? And what filetypes are allowed apart from ZIP.. JPG...?]

Actually, Asia seems to have had a general update. I can now see detail in Hangzhou, my favourite city

Not as good for Manila, but better for most of the uk...(checkout 'birdseye' view)

It also doesn't require an install so good fun at work or internet cafes... not found a easy way to link to places yet. but it's good to show places here in uk to friends,

Thanks for that, the Manila overlay it does help quite a lot. Its a shame about the clouds on the image though...

Google Earth needs to be a bit more graphical................I can't pick up anything on the nudest beaches :cwm3:

They had several Filipina groups play at the ShangriLa in Hangzhou (96/97) - I always requested Anak and got a great response !!
