General check up b4 going to uk

Hi! Would you advice to have a general check up before migrating to another country? Im leaving for u.k. in june 18. I already had chest xray. Did anyone here had general check up before they went to u.k.? thanks much in advance. help will greatly be appreciated as always!:)

Always a good idea to get a check up from the doctors. But no particularly reason medical wise apart from making sure no problem with x ray.

But what it is worth doing is getting all dental work up to date.

Nearly all health care and medcine free or very very cheap in the UK

But dental work not so.

Make sure your teeth are in a1 condtion before arriving.

when i arrived here in uk,i dont have any medical at all.
but they asked me if i have a chest xray,which i dont have
they asked me some question,and thats it.(back in 2006)
btw...goodluck and have a nice trip.

Great news that your hubby is there now amiga. I hope you have a really happy time together and a great trip home to your new life on 18th. i concur with andypaul, dental work is really expensive here.

i've never had a check up in the airport don't worry about that Sephean will they stop you if you have pretty obvious you got a disease lol
