We were visiting my honeys cousin in Poulton Le Fylde at the weekend and were invited to attend the above celebration which included a parade on Blackpool sea front(even the stag and hen groups stopped and watched). the various little queens and escorts along with Mr and Mrs Phils were fantastic in their outfits and many whiteys in their barongs added to the spectacle. In true filipino fashion it was organised chaos and ran a bit late but was great fun, in the evening the food , entertainment and sheer pride in being filipino shone through with the anthem, the traditional dances and songs and of course "magic sing". Well done to the organisers and the visitors from Chorley, Preston and around the region in general.:cwm12::cwm12:

Even if I had known of this, I would not have been able to go with Jet, as I was busy working at The 3 Counties Show in Malvern.:NoNo:

One thing I noticed at this event was the number of western/filipina couples.

I am always surprised just how many flipino/western couples there are in any one area, and when I talk with them many do not know about this site. It always seem to get the interest of the ladies I guess because they are the ones far from home who often are looking for more friends. :)
