Hi guys and gals,
Been working in Cebu for a week now - job is very enjoyable so far, teaching English to Koreans, Japanese, Taiwanese, Vietnamese and 3 legged transvestites from Hungerford. (One of the previous collection is, in fact, untrue - but which one eh??)
Not got a place yet so no Internet. I'm in a cafe at the mo
Will check in again tomorrow 'cos I'm hungry now. Think I'll go and have a pork pie and a cup of Bovril.
May your asagais flourish,
Al.:)

Good to read from you Alan.
So Asia is going to speak its English with an Oldham accent.
Your need to get some videos of Corrie as study material for your students.
I hope things work out ok for the two of you sounds like things are on the up

Ah, Cebu, I wish I was there too (four months and counting!!). I'm just off to a Filipino christening so I'll be surrounded by nearly as many Filipinos as you.
I was up at 6am making 10 of my speciality pineapple tarts for them.
The wife's already there at the God bit and I'll go along later for the food and drink :xxparty-smiley-050::Wine::66:

Many thanks everyone for your good wishes. I shall be going back to Valencia this Saturday so will have more time on the Internet on that day.
Bloody hell - I'M WORKING - so all my free time is up the spout, down the Swanee. I have to be professional again all of a sudden. (Silly phrase that - I mean, can you have half a sudden?)
Live long and prosper.
