Greetings to all!

First, I would like to thank the people behind this forum for accepting me and making me a part of this great informative community.

My wife is a nurse in Royal London Hospital with a working permit visa for over 4 years now. We recently got married (June 2008) and I'm now processing my visa application, a "Dependent of a Working Permit Holder" visa. I've acquired some useful information and downloaded Visa Application Form (VAF) online with the document checklist form from the British Embassy's website here in the Philippines, they are quick with their updates, I must add. I would like to ask for other information from you guys about other documents that I might need to acquire aside from what's listed in the checklist: http://www.vfs-uk-ph.com/dependants.aspx/

I would be grateful if anyone can give me tips about the application, especially, if you have had success story on this matter.

Please give me a buzz for a chat at Skype (jgarmino) or YM (oneiceteapls).

Thank you!

JGarmino.

hi gaius - my wife underwent this processback in April and it was quick and relatively painless. I do not recall having to come up with any additional documentations that's not on the list. Just make sure you have everything on the list. One thing that slightly delayed us was making the payment over the counter on the same day of the appointment :NoNo:, my wife had to reschedule another appointment. Otherwise it was very fast with no interview.

My wife may have more details with what she did.

Good luck and don't worry too much.

Hello Bro Gadgets!

I really do appreciated your quick response, I just hope your beloved wife can share some of her experience during the process and during the interview if she was required to attend.

One more thing, I would like to know how long the process was made?

Is my application "Dependent of a Working Permit Holder" part of NON-SETTLEMENT OR SETTLEMENT category? because as I've browse VFS Global site, both categories has a different processing time period.

Thank you so much!
