I wonder if anybody know a good remittance service we can use to send money to the Philippines from Wales. in London there are many offices such metrobank, PNb, Allied bank etc were we can go personnaly to remitt money to our love one back at home, but here we have to use western union (very expensive)or some other on line services.
Also if anybody know what shipping services are here in respect of forwarding Boxes or wood crates to the philippines as we would like to sended home....Thank you

Why don't you set up a PNB online remittance account? It's a bit of a chore to get set up and working, but once you've done it, it makes sending remittances very easy. The PNB exchange rate is also consistently competative and usually, the best rate available. http://www.pnbeurope.com/
Cheers,

Iain is right. I will go into more detail for you.

First, here is a very useful currency convertor that you will require if you choose to send any method:
http://uk.finance.yahoo.com/currency-converter?u

First I will tell you of Xoom. Xoom is an American company so remittance is cheaper than Western Union because of the dollar rate. They are very quick and reliable.Your mahal needs 2 ID and secret word.It would require you to setup a Paypal account with your bank or debit card. Credit card can be used if you have Mastercard. But Paypal is better utilised as the middle man.

PAYPAL SITE IS THIS:http://www.paypal.co.uk/uk

XOOM IS THIS:https://www.xoom.com/sendmoneynow/money-transfer-fees

Example send: Sending $71.94 has a fee of $5.50- $77.44 (£39.76) She gets 3,183.32 peso.

PNB site is a bit of loop sometimes. I will point you in the right directions.First you need to register online for the service

https://clarahost.clara.net/www.pnbeurope.com/ssl/onlinereg/onlineregistration.htm
WHen you finish that you get a confirmation email. You need to send signed ID to them. An official letter (like a credit card statement) or your driving licence or passport. Best to get it signed by doctor. My doctor was kind enough to do it for free ;)

Here is what they require by law (you require Acrobat Reader to read this)
https://www.pnbeonline.co.uk/info/kyc-requirements.pdf

Then you will get login details to ur email.

I use PNB online to transfer funds to Phils, from my UK accounts. I can then get the money from an ATM (with a daily P50,000 limit) or, for larger sums, either as cash or Manager's cheque [check]), over the counter during banking hours.

You can use a Bank Debit Card, in fact that is my preferred option because if you use a debit card instead of a credit card, you don't have to pay the credit card cash withdrawal fee, of about 2% or 2.5% on top of the PNB £5 per £1000 transfer fee.
Iain.
