This morning I went to the registrar to put in our notice of marriage, she was lovely and it only took 20 mins!

Now it gets posted on the wall for 21 days so anyone can say if there's any reason that we can't get married. Not that anyone in the town it gets posted knows either of us!

has to picked up 2 days before I fly out, yikes!! but I'm working all day that day so will have to rely on my friend to go there and pick it up.

Next stop Philippines!

Found the perfect shoes on line but they're in teh States and they won't mail to the UK, and can't find them anywhere else on line so the hunt continues ona daily basis.

Have you confirmed that its OK for your friend to pick up as I had to sign when I picked mine up last week.

You will be quite amazed at the fantastic selection of cheap (compared to UK) "sexy shoes" in the department stores in the malls.
My wife made a bee-line there all the time. Now I call her Imelda.
In fact it is quite an education for a man to sit in these stores and see a hundred Filipinas trying on shoes.
I mean, I've never seen men with so much enthusiasm.

Have a great wedding in Phils.
