Good luck Ann the link that joebloggs gave is the one I used when Im reviewing my test actually I didn't read the book much as everything is on that site and I only prepare about a month for the exam as I feel that I can do it already and luckily I passed it and as pinoy saying "chicken lang yan"

written and spoken , well why don't the gov make everyone do Ielts, and say you need an average pass mark of 6, its only £100 and its an all day exam and you have to wait more than 2 wks for the result..

KOL test is a simple mutli choice test, if your englsih is good and after a bit of reading you'll pass it, its only £34 ? and you know the result at the end.

if your english is not up to the standard then take the ESOL and citizenship course, which i would have thought most filipina's would'nt need to take.

you have a choice which to do, i'm sure most would rather do the KOL than ielts

and for tier 1,the lectures for your degree must be in english or you must take ielts.

Thanks for asking Ann,she's celebrating her 1st birthday last Friday 08 Aug. It was fun, the party is successful and we have lots of visitors..kids and adults. Baby Bea enjoyed her party.

Being nervous is normal bec I felt that too when Im taking the exam but to be honest the exam is really easy specially for Pinoys I guess The thing about the test questionnaires they do it a bit tricky so just be careful. You only need 18 correct answers out 24 Q's (I think I forgot now, sorry). So my advice to you like what I did (they're providing a pencil and paper) I put on the paper how many I am 100% sure correct anwers I have and how many I am not sure atleast you have an idea on your scores and don't be in a hurry you've got 45 minutes to spend there so if you're finish just read it again twice or thrice just to be sure. I reckon even you read it thrice it only takes you the most 20 minutes. Good luck again..yakang-yaka mo yan

its not what I mean about paper and pen...you're going to do the exam on the computer but each computer table has a blank paper and pen. I don't think you need to have a computer skills as long as you know how to use the computer mouse properly that's it

Oh thanks for that info flomike.the lady in the phone when we booked the test told me to study chapters 2-6 in d book You are right you just have to read the question carefully and thoroughly, coz sometimes that my problem even at school b4
i just hope and pray
