Thread: Got my spouse visa this afternoon

    Got my spouse visa this afternoon

    My hubby and I went to SM Pampanga today and came home around 5:30 PM , 5 mins after, we heard the door bell ringing and my mum went to the gate to check who is it. Then I heard my mum was shouting loud calling my name and very excited saying that I have package and sure its my visa. The delivery man asked my ID and he gave me the package. My husband let me open the envelop and the first thing I looked was my passport and looked at the pages yes I have the visa stamp. Actually my feelings when I saw the visa was happy and sad. My hubby is happy but my 13 year old son is sad because I will leave him again. I submitted my docs june 13. I got it without interview and without any text or call from them. Everyday I was checking the status of my visa and last night I checked it, same message as forwarded to british embassy....June 14.So we were really surprise that we got it that soon.This forum helped me a lot, ...My hubby now is busy checking for the prices of flights to Manchester.

    Congratulations!!!!

    When I counted the weeks you've waited, it seems that it's only around 9 weeks. Wow, that's 1 week shorter than the waiting others had. I hope my spouse visa wil also arrive within next month. I'm now on my 4th week of waiting and it's starting to drive me crazy....

    I hope Trina also gets her spouse visa next week...

    well, feeling happy & sad is normal, i also have that mixed emotions when i received my visa... but this is what you've longed for, then fly fast in UK while you can still witness the limited sun here, hehehe!

    I'm going to pick it up from UKVACS also. This means that we'll both get a call when our visa is ready for pick up. Let me know once you get that important call okie...

    congratulations! i know how you feel. it was also today my 2 angels got their visa after 6 weeks. theirs is work-permit dependant though, but in the past, processing was 10 working days! it was really wonderful to hear the good news after the waiting period...so when my sister sent me a message, i went online after only having 3 hours sleep and have chatted with my children and they are so excited. i share your happiness too x

    if i remember it right, No they dont need your flight ticket, the CFO only need your blue and green CFO certificate and your visa photocopy and of course your passport with your visa in it
