There's no such thing as automatic! If only that easy, but I'm afraid it's not. We (as a spouse, married to a brit) have to stay here for 1 year to be a residence (that's during my time and now 2 years) then 3 years to become a citizen of this country.

It's not possible to a filipina to get a UK passport without staying in this country for a certain length of time. Why not stay here in the UK for 2 years and let Ruby get her ILR in that case she can then in and out in the UK without a problem.
