Change your sterling in Makati at the money changers, or SM City.

Thanks for your reply pete but i,m fling into Davao!!!! and my last visit i could not find any one who would change sterling so i had to use my bank card and got charged for it HSBC :-(

in davao there is a street downtown that sells fabric. every one of them is also a money changer. I will ask asawa for the street name (she wont know).. tommorow. My memory says its the street facing Ateneo de Davao University (Jacinto St)

Just take $$$DOLLARS$$$....did you not learn last time?? Otherwise ANY BANK in the UK can get you them on order.

she says "aldevinco bldg at claveria st." which sounds about right. at least 4 shops are money changers - who will change sterling, at a good rate.

you will be paying through the nose for pesos in the UK. even using your atm card will be cheaper.

Why not take dollars and change them when you arrive in the airport(manila)? Rate in Manila is much good than in any point

just take a big pile of sterling with you. you're not allowed to travel with more than 10,000pesos anyway..

you will have no problem changing sterling in davao at the address I gave above.
