    Hello po,

I am Ron from manila, Filipino-Chinese, 24 yrs old, male. I was sent to UK by my company so i can provide support here. My occupation is IT consultant, sometimes programmer. anyway, hope all is well for everyone, btw, are there any other filipino in this milton keynes town? all the info i see in the culture and food stores are all located in london :(

    Hi! Welcome to the forum.

Good luck in your search for rice Try the Tesco basmati rice, there are loads of rice to choose from just look at the pasta section or international food section. You might want to try those Bachelors savory rice as well.

Do you happen to work for Accenture? just curious.

i will try to check tesco again later, i think there was no rice in the tesco ive been going to is because its tesco "express". i think its like a 7-11 shop... i think i need to find the tesco that is a REAL supermarket... anyway thanks for the information about what kind of rice to buy.. i really just need normal rice that i eat in the philippines.. i cant wait to eat rice + fried chicken! HEHEHE (i brought some of those crispy fry powder things haha!).. i will also try to find the sainsbury here, i think there's one in the milton keynes city centre...

Hello and welcome to the forum siops.

Go to Earl's Court by tube or bus in London, there are a few Filipino shops and restaurants there. You may also want to visit China Town. Feel free to indulge in panic-buying of rice and other Filipino/Chinese food that will last throughout your stay. Enjoy!
