I was in the Philippines for Christmas 2 years ago.
What made me laugh was all the Christmas cards with pictures of snow and robins! I guess most Filipinos have never seen either!
I thought the cards would be mainly religious images but clearly they are equally susceptible to the global, commercial image of Christmas.
So what has snow got to do with Christmas anyway??
