    question about spouse visa

hi everyone, i will apologize now if this has been asked before,
but i could,nt find anything directly related to it.

the situation is i am going to the phillipines to marry my g/f in october.
i now wonder if i could pre book an apointment with the british embassy
regarding a spouse visa even though we are not married yet.

i would be looking for the apointment to be early november before i have to return.
the reason i want to do it this way is because i would prefer to get things done in a single trip rather than going back and forth to the phillipines twice.

my g/f knows absolutely nothing about how to go about this,
and i know a bit less than her.
so any advice would be much apreciated.

I'm pretty sure you won't be able to book an appointment before your married. I think have to book online these days and I think you have to deposit your visa fee in one of their nominated banks before you do that. Maybe some of the girls who have been through the process recently will correct me on that, but I think thats how it goes these days.

    Iain.
