tell me bout it kimmi. it is really, really freakin expensive. i booked online i have searched everywhere and i think it is much more expensive if i book it from a travel agency cos they add more for them. anyways i dont have a choice cos my fiance is takin that when he comes to see me. his return ticket was cheaper than mine...

Some airlines just don't seem to like selling one way tickets online.
When we came back here in December, I looked at booking flights on the Singapore Airlines website. The price was something like £2500 each. I called a London-based agent and got the tickets for less than £500 each!

Reading this post prompted me to start checking flights for the foreseeable future. Seems that KLM have a standard price policy on one way tickets.....£706 Manila to most destinations in the UK. That spans several months to.
I'd advise you to look for a better deal if you have not already booked it. Many options some half that price!
Btw seems the Indian summer has arrived to the UK (at last) so be quick its not so malamig right now
