I thought you island girls know all the herbal secrets of egg and a bit oil
Homemade Egg Conditioner Recipe
Ingredients:
1 teaspoon baby oil
1 egg yolk
1 cup water
Directions:
Beat the egg yolk until its frothy, add the oil then beat again. Add to the water. Massage into the scalp and throughout your hair. Rinse well. there. now isn't that cheap
Or you can fertilize the scalp with generous helpings of pidgeon droppings.....
They can be colleted free of charge from under any motorway bridge, flyover or gantry....
Hi trina, welcome to uk, try beer shampoo, if that don't work just drink rest of beer.
cheers :
hello trina, just use a hair treatment that has a moisturizer treatment as your conditioner especially it says for dry and frizzy hair. other conditioner doesnt help so much. thats what i did to my hair ever since im here and even back home. that's what my hair dresser in davids taught me. it helps
Trina,,,buy a mayonaise for ur hair treatment...lol...and u can use it also for bread well same here,my hair gets dry and simon sees it everywhere...
"You don't have to be a certain age to fall in love;
although you've maybe been told you're to young.
For those who tell you that,
that don't know what is."
water in the UK is terrible and a disgrace to hair and skin...
so use a Kerastase mask (i use age recharge but all are great) and hot oil once a week...
as for shampoo i use bain satin by Kerastase and for conditioner i use Lait vital by Kerastase... i tried so many shampoos and conditioner and this are the best!!!
good luck!
Anna xx
Its not just the water if you filter it or soften it somehow its said to be better if your in a hard water area and get rid of the cholorine etc. shampoos and other in the UK are i am led to belive different for the various areas of the country.
if you cant sleep read this
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hard_water
Your hubby should know what the water is like you can tell by looking at the taps in hard areas you get a bulid up of white scale over time.
The other reason is humidty.
All us brits and phills who return to the land of balut will notice with in days our hair and skin change.
I have read on many sites and from seeing and hearing how my wife and her friends were affected by the change getting the right treatment is vital.
Us blokes dont notice but i know its very destressing what with all the other things going on.
Dont forget to visit your local phill shop for the products that you know it helps my wife as she is addicted to her papaya soap
drinks loads of water to keep your hair and skin healthy and shiny...dont worry everyone gets dry hair in UK...its beco'z of the nice british sunny weather don't shampoo everytime just trice a week but do use conditioner often when you wash co'z shampooing makes your hair more dry....

try olive oil, leave it overnight (or for few hours) wrapped your hair with towel and rinse thoroughly, then use ur fave shampoo & conditioner to remove excess oil .
Most of the time I'm wearing hat to hide my bad hair as I can't afford a regular visit to hair dresser
unlike the tap water in the phils
you mean your southern water is
unlike your northern water Trina
how is life in the outback Trina , has your hubby took you to the centre of Manchester or the Trafford centre yet , i've still not taken the kids to the Chill Factor next to the Trafford centre yet, get him to take you there to see what snows like, before the winter comes
