Want to live and work in Philippines

Hi

I have tried reading many threads etc searching for what to do's on relocating to Philippines

My life here has gone bad and I have built a strong relationship with my gf and her family.

My idea is to live in Philippine's with my gf and family, start my business venture (if possible) and begin a whole new exciting life.

How? what do I do next? I can only find information about applying for certain types of visa but no background information/helpful hints!!!!

Please there must be someone out there with some knowledge to share?

Hi Phillip,its not that straight forward.If you have,as you say a good relationship with your girl,the best thing you can do is get married in the Philippines then apply for a residence visa.This will allow you to work there.
You must remember that in the Philippines you can never own anything outright as you are an alien,you can only own a percentage.

Doesn't a tourist visa say valid for business or pleasure??

Many so called tourists have their first dabble in business on this visa..
I certainly did!!

Be smart enough dealing people in PI,and i can say Jon is right,go get married her....but....but....but also what Fred says u should at least know what business u want to start,rather than u are here already and married but u still don't know what to start as i salute Fred i guess he is doing well in PI

I have a business plan and money to fund this business idea except the rent/premises. The return should keep me, gf and any additional requirements (bata) etc happy plus I have 2 other set aside business ideas which can utilise the same business equipment.

I have seen financial information from same business situated in another area so I am not going into this blind except my knowledge of Philippine business law etc

My main concern will be wanting to stay there as long as possible even without business.

I just want to be with my new life and happy
