    Ps3

Does anybody of you here got problems with your PS3? Coz my husbands PS3 does not recognized any dics. At first it only froze while playing games, so he rung the sony about it and they advice him to reformat the hard drive,so he do it.After reformatting,it wont read any dics at all. so he rung the sony again and they tell him that theyre going to send another one,but when they found out that it was bought in Philippines, they wont do it anymore coz they said, they will only do it when the PS3 is bought from here in UK. I mean, whats the difference now? When you buy your PS3 in Asia,US or UK the brand is still Sony and you still spending much money to have it...
Can anyone tell me what to do on how can we ask the Sony to replace our PS3,coz we only buy it last december

Bring it back to Phils? Do you have any discs from Phils? Perhaps the discs are regionised and the PS3 won't recognise UK discs?

my sons ps3 stopped reading disks when he updated the software, acoring to sony the latest update bricked his ps3 (40gb), they told us to bring it back to where we brought it and they will exchange it. we did that and they swapped it for a new one without questions asked.
