you don't need to put it in a new fancy envelope, the ukvacs has its own folder for you to put it all, separate the original and the photocopy, set those two in order base on what is written on the checklist.

i put mine in an expandable folder but the ukvacs didn't accept which i got it back after they took all my required documents. good luck

Hi everybody. Chryss and I will be applying for a spouse visa within the next few weeks. The question I have is what ORIGINAL copies must I send? Ive taken a photocopy of everything I have but I must admit i`m not at ease with putting everything someone needs to steal my i.d. into one box!

Like if they need my original birth certificate and it gets lost then it`ll take ages to get another one.

Also i`m led to believe that DHL are the best/safest couriers to use and I wonder if anyone has thoughts on that? The price I have is £47 and between 1-6 days transit time.

    Thanks

Hi Marylen. I'm working on my application now. I'd like to ask, regarding your school credentials.. they're not necessarily in red ribbons right?

did you send them just to support our identity, since you've mentioned there was some inconsistencies in your given names?

I'd really appreaciate your reply. And I would like to submit similar requirements, hope i ge the same fate as yours. (^_^)

    Hi Adam & Chryss,

documents from U.K. no need to be in original, so just send photocopies or scan the original and email them to your wife then that would be ok....goodluck!

Unfortunately I forgot to fill out a SPONSORSHIP UNDERTAKING form for Chryss` son Yujin so I had to download it, complete it,scan it and then email it back to Chryss. She has an appointment for thursday to complete the application.
I hope it will go ok, so many things to do!
Yeah it`s an anxious time for everybody involved and I wish the authorities could find a better way to do it but thats life I guess.
    Adam
