Happy to let you guys know that I got mine yesterday, 3months after I;ve submitted my application. I phoned them 2wks ago to ask for the status however they only give info when application is over 6months. Since we are planning to go on holiday this Dec I've requested them to return our passports. She said my application might take longer if I pullout our passports. I said that is fine. Then she said it'll take 2wks to return it. Then yesterday I got a post with our passports and a letter approving my citizenship. We reckon that if I didnt request for our passports to be returned they wouldnt process my application that quick.

I suppose you now have to do the citizenship ceremony to complete and then another application to apply for passport. Nearly there!

Not quite - you need to have a passport interview (to confirm your identity) before they will send you your passport.
