For me I think it just affirmed how lucky those living in countries like UK are for having free health care (NHS).
Yes, but health care is sooo cheap in the Philippines. Such as having a tooth filled (with white porcelain) for just 700 pesos.
You can go and see whatever specialist you want (even shop around) without needing a referral from a GP.
Also, you can buy what drugs you want, when you want - and mostly a lot less expensive than the prescription charge in UK.

NHS here is not free you pay it monthly deducted in your wages lol, but if you have a cancer or any serious illnesses need an operation you can't have a doctor or specialist straight away you need to queue for ages huhuhu not like in philippines if you have a money you can have a good doctors and have an operation straight away.

I know it's being deducted as tax...lol...I was saying that as a Filipino living in the Philippines...merely saying how lucky some people are who can get free healthcare...Yeah, philippines is cheaper to get treated...If you are a foreigner who can travel to the Philippines to get it done...and If you are lucky enough to receiving money from someone outside the Philippines
Even if you need to queue up...unlike here in the Philippines, even if you queue up you still need to pay up...if u want to get treated.

We have private health care here sir and not hard to use the back door to speak to many specialists in the UK, im sure as the ecomony more will supplement their wages a tad.
Toks is the expert on medcine but i belive some of the phill supplied drugs are generic versions and possibly of dubious origins (occasionally) in smaller outlets

true, but don't forget peter, a visit to the dentist is free in the uk for those

also true about fake medicines, that's a global problem, I'm sure even the NHS has bought fake drugs, only way is to buy direct from the manufacturer.
