If you will be married in the PI, you will be able to skip 1 visa application, that is FIANCEE VISA (valid for 6mos only) this will save you money.
You will then need to apply SPOUSE VISA that is valid for 2 yrs (pls correct me if im wrong?)
Then ILR after 2 yrs
Then Citizenship

Spouse visa should now be valid for 27 months. Citizenship after 3 years in the UK.

If marrying in the UK
Fiancee Visa 6mos
FLR 2yrs
ILR valid for 5 yrs
Brit Citizenship after 3 yrs of stay in the UK

ILR is valid indefinitely so long as you stay resident in the UK.

But some of this is likely to change next year.
