Well, I'm in the Philippines and I've had lettuce. The restaurant in Malapascua buys it from a restaurant in Cebu who have their own farm, so it does grow here.
And my Big Mac here in SM had loads of it hanging out of it!!

coz PI is above the equator meaning... the soil is rich and damp ... it is a tropical country...
lots of beaches, mountains, lakes, farms and others...

speaking of plants etc...
I WANT CARABAO GRASS in my garden!!! is it possible to send it over here? even put it in a small container with sligtly damp soil so it will survive? ive been planning to do this hehe coz carabao grasses are really fantastic! not prickly or anything! low maintenance..hhehe
apples grow in the phil???? really??? i didn't know that but i know pineapple and star apple grew there.
