Question Do I include my mother's monthly remittance in my sources of income?

My mum works abroad and sends regular remittances through my bank. BUt that's just it, it all go straight to my sibling's education and house supplies. And recently, she's opened an account for my brother, so she sends his direct.

I was thinking of NOT including it as it doesn't add to me money-in-hand. They don't check personal banking transactions, do they? pls advise.

    Thanks again!

you can not rely on 3rd party financial support, sure you answer the question on the visa app form , but you should have enough money to support the both of you, without you needing public funds or money from a 3rd party

But if your doing it by the book you should declare, otherwise if they should find out (unlikely but sods law) then you would have told the truth in your visa app.

Let's say you have about US$8k in the bank, wouldn't be that enough to support you 'til you get work if you apply on spouse visa?

320 k in peso ? they wont bother it...but my thought was at least u are not running for the poverty of the Phil,if u had some savings and assets in your life,in my opinion (my opinion) hope they (ECO) may think that they really love each other, not some i know .... wanted to marry a foreigner for some reason that life was tough in the 3rd world, and thinking they might had better life marrying foreigner

    Again,my opinion

of course you answer the question that your given money, but it probably will not make any difference to your app, as i said no 3rd party financial support is allowed.

of course $8k would make a difference, anyway as long as your hubby is working, and you've got some savings, you should be ok

    so don't worry empott

Thanks. I've printed my application today. I didn't state the remittance as it's no longer sent though my account for the past months. I am still employed, and I'll be submitting my pay slips and employment certificate with my application. (^_^)

Oh, my husband already bought a ticket to pick me up around late April. Do I still need to include it in the documents I'll submit. I was thinking NO, but I may be wrong.

Mod Joe, that's not me! I was talking in general, I don't have money. Anyway, my hubby is working, and we followed your advice (I'll reply soon, Mod). We decided to wait for 2 more months, meaning more savings on my account and more on his for a guaranteed visa. Well, Hopefully ...

We only have enough to survive, Mrs.JMajor. Life has been good to me here in the Phils and my family is here. I didn't imagine myself living in a different place. It's love that made me changed my mind. My place now is where my hubby is. Life is nothing without him. Now, I'm talking like a lovesick fool! Seriously now, he means the world to me.

As for my case, I didn't include my mom's remittance as I am employed. So i just presented a copy of my payslips for the last 6 months like i did with my hubby's. Are u applying for a spouse visa? if u are, it's ur hubby's finances they need to check more of.

    Goodluck!
