    Employment letter with visa application

    Hi Forum,
I will be getting married to my fiance, Luna on February 7th and has been offered a job in my brothers business starting in Easter. As it is my brother that is giving my fiance a job if I enclose a letter from my brother business will this help or hinder the application? Will this job offer be looked at closely by immigration? Or could the letter be written with no mention of my Brothers name just the business name? The last thing is can my fiance start work as soon as she arrives in uk without national insurance number?

Please help and thanks in advance forum

your fiancée cannot work until your married, and you have applied for FLR and being granted FLR !!.

mention work and applying for a fiancée visa could get a refusal !!!.

i take it your getting married in the phils ?

i take it your applying for a spouse visa and not a fiancée visa ?

if you are, then sorry, yes a letter could help her visa app, but they might wonder why she has been offered a job without an interview ??

Sorry should have explained a bit more, we are getting married in the Phils and are applying for a Spouse visa. Luna has all the correct qualifications for this type of job that has been offered and you can video conference for interview but we will keep all comment in mind before we put application in. Please tell me what a FLR is? Thanks for your help

FLR further leave to remain - an extension of time on your visa. you shouldn't have to worry about this at all

If the financial standing of you is marginal, and if the applicant has plans to work in the UK, a job offer letter can be included to bolster the application's strength; and failing all other evidence, the applicant may attach a CV (or academic credentials) which demonstrate favorable prospects. Note however, that this is generally the weakest form of evidence.

well yes a letter offering a job would be very handy, as she will be allowed to work straight away on a spouse visa. the embassy could check with her employer thou. so i would probably mention your brother is her employer, that shouldn't be a problem, as i've seen that a few times..

their more concerned with you thou, you have a job, somewhere for her to live and hopefully some savings..
