    Saw that on Wales Today yesterday - nice to see some good news. I'm amazed at the sheer stupidity of both BIA and UKVisas, why would they issue her a work permit then deny her leave to remain?

    doesn't say why they were refused a visa,

    could be a number of reasons, a mistake by UKBA or she had a break in her employment, applied too late..

    who knows

    harsh as it is, the same rules apply to most of us, thats if your a brit or non european

    mp's can't really do much, they might write a letter or make a call, they even help illegal immigrants
