I thought doubleglazing is also for security and noise reduction as well, as for insulation?
Thats the main reasons I changed them in my gaff which orignally had single glazed.

Oh lord why did you make so many clothes and shoe shops
Good job I didn't.... While Taking Jet and her mate to the station for a girlie trip to Lillipud this morning, I got stopped and breathalized.....
Walay kwarta, anyway.....
Exactamundo............
The more I read into this company profile, the more I realize that their strenght is adapting to new technologies and versatility.
Let's face it, they would not have lasted all these years if they weren't up to it.
Through them being wine buyers, I have seen lots of smaller local companies closing down because they only dealt with one or two aspects of home improvements.
Anyway, I am ready. They booked me into a Chester Hotel for a 4 days induction/bonding course thingy.
A bit annoying really, because The Hotel is only six miles from home, but looking at it in the cool light of the day I might actually get a couple of full nights sleep..........
Every cloud...... Eh...???![]()
I saw many of the larger firms are involved in various aspects of home improvment and i see they in to solar heating and power etc.
In the next few years with the huge reductions which have to be made in engery use and the goverment needing to kickstart the ecomony i could see that being a area where they push a lot of money. The engery saving trust and carbon trust seem to be well funded..
So I guess you a ECO salesman
Good luck and well done Sir![]()

Here`s some MO_dern double glazing sales tips for you Dom..
What was the company?? Not Armstrongs was it?
great news, congratulations![]()
Was it in North Wales?
You probably know that it has the reputation of being the worst place in the UK for getting done![]()
I only have 3 points on my licence and it was just outside Wrexham.
They have those radar guns and you have got no chance to hide from them as you come around the corner at 35 in a 30 zone.
I know I know I was a bit naughty but it was going down a hill
I drive HGV's for a living and North Wales makes me more nervous than anywhere else in the UK.
This is echoed by many other drivers I speak to too
Having said all that, you probably got stopped on the Wirral![]()
Haha, in autumn 2007, I was just approaching the junction for Denbigh, and overtaking on a downhill stretch, when my laser jam ... err... 'garage door opener' deafened me!
There was a police man waving an instrument out of his car window, parked up just by the junction.
That wonderful device protected me on more than one occasion - a rather essential accessory on a car with top speed in excess of 170mph!
North Wales has been dubbed the "Spiritual home of the traffic Taliban".....
I was stopped about 150 feet away from Wrexham railway station.
As per speeding, I don't do that anymore, I use a "Talex" thingy that keeps reminding me of the local speed limit and of any fixed or mobile camera spots.
I would rather "zap" them, tho, with the same thing that Peterb had.
Only that I missed out on getting one in Elevenerife, when I went last time.![]()
Jobs.............As my Dad always says "Never knock the workers"
