Still paying 99p for a litre of diesel.
I'm sure it was less than 90p the last time oil was at the $40 mark. Of course, the pound is weaker against the dollar, but petrol here is even more expensive than it has been in comparitive terms.
Supposed to hit 86p for petrol this week, and as it 2-3 months behind, as they may buy it at $33 a barrel, it then has to be shipped out & processed which takes a lot of time. It should though drop below 80p in January.
When do our utitily bills go down though?
The 'oles in those companies took 'financial advice' that the price of oil would keep rising, and so stocked up on oil at around $125 a barrel in long term contracts, now we have to pay for their stupidity.
...and remember all those poor fools who took up the offer of locking in the price of electric/gas for 2 years!!
The price of flights for next year is dropping.
