that's what 'overstayers' well that's what they call themselves, i call them illegal immigrants say to me, when i have a go at them for breaking the law . it effects everyone, as visa's are more expensive and difficult to get because of their selfish actions

i was going to say something about a guy i meet in the phils who was nearly 70, and his filipina g/f of 30, but i will not, as i've got nothing good to say about it and i don't want to start WWIII

    happy new year to everyone

Here we have saying, " mamamatay sila sa inggit!" bbeeehhh
So what if her hubby is old and ugly eh di humanap ka rin ng pangit hehehehe
So what if her husband is young and handsome, does not mean he is blind.

But for me My sweetheart is most attractive man in the whole wide world, because he said I am the most beautiful woman on earth. .
I bet he is blind, too.

Seriously, age does not matter, if he looks too old for you, you can bring him to Dra. Belo Im sure with just few hundred pounds he will look ten years yonger than his actual age. Try it.

This is a bit of an over-reaction Mrs Daddy . MrsJ.Major made a valid comment. We all know some will do anything to get to the UK. If you doubt this, ask anyone in Government involved with immigration.

Also, MrsJ.Major did not generalize... if you had read the post properly, she used the word some.

    Hi Alicat,

Im just confused here, you said that you married to a man whose nearly half of your age so that means you are older than him

The thing is you do not need to explain to everyone whats the reason why you marry your man and thats right as long as you are happy

    Have a

I think we filipinos has this dream living abroad for a better life what else. Since I experience living here for nearly 5 years now I must admit I beginning to like the lifestlye here, for me its simple not complicated. Im not complaining about the weather bec I get use to it now as well, we can't do anything about it beside this is UK known for unpredictable weather according to my Brits colleagues

I think those filipinos about to go here in UK, you should ask your fiancee or husband things about UK. I know most of filipinos don't have much ideas where UK is or what's in UK. When im still in Phils I never heard much about UK I have no single idea about this country aside fom the King and Queen thingy. Even my friends in the Phils think I am going to work in Middleast bec sounds like Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and asking me what languange they speak here. I mean we filipinos all our life we have this thinking of american dream our mind focus about everything about america and nothing else.

IMHO, living abroad is not easy at all, may be there's more money here but you need to do loads of sacrifices to settle here. I missed everything about Phils that's one thing for sure.

Right. Yes thats wonderful to hear from you that it will kill you leaving your kids behind. As they say, when it comes to a "Love of a Mother to her children" every mother wants the best for her kids, right? All mother wants her children to be happy and mother knows best eka nga... hehehehe.

I have another question, if you dont mind, Where are your kids? Are you in the UK?

amazing how you read my mind katherine I was wondering if you have telepathic talentI was thinking exactly the same while I was working this morning It reminded me of my Favourite teacher in Sociology Subject in College.I remembered what exactly she said about filipinos. the "Crab Mentality" thing instead of helping each other for the way to success we`re pulling each other down its sad but true.we are exactly in same color, race.and country we have been and yet we are ruining each other. Its ashame its called Filipinouk forum by its name we suppose to reunite our powers as one and help one another.same as other member said its suppose to be a friendly forum and yet here mga pilipina pa naman nagbabangayan, nagsisiraanif you have known somebody who is less luckier than you or perhaps you yourself married a handsome and younger bloke then consider yourself lucky not unless if you are arguing, fighting each day.I myself Praise God I have caught a Good man.God indeed answered my prayer I used to remember before praying to God to marry a man and ask whatever the race and age and indeed he gave him to me.I am thankful and blessed. He is the man for me and I am to him.Who cares about young men when they`re irresponsible pwera lang sa hindi like sis Kimmi said she admire her husband more than anything.and mature husband know how to handle our tantrums whatever other situation may look like thats their life and its none of our business.Yan nga ang problema natin mga pinoy masyadong pakialamira at tsismosa sa buhay ng iba, dunno how can or who can change us.But hopefully someday somehow we can to make the earth a better place to live in.
