Everyone tells me that I look about 40. If the Dr makes me look 10 years younger than my actual age, that'll be 45!
Happy New Year....

I think we filipinos has this dream living abroad for a better life what else. Since I experience living here for nearly 5 years now I must admit I beginning to like the lifestlye here, for me its simple not complicated. Im not complaining about the weather bec I get use to it now as well, we can't do anything about it beside this is UK known for unpredictable weather according to my Brits colleagues
I think those filipinos about to go here in UK, you should ask your fiancee or husband things about UK. I know most of filipinos don't have much ideas where UK is or what's in UK. When im still in Phils I never heard much about UK I have no single idea about this country aside fom the King and Queen thingy. Even my friends in the Phils think I am going to work in Middleast bec sounds like Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and asking me what languange they speak here. I mean we filipinos all our life we have this thinking of american dream our mind focus about everything about america and nothing else.
IMHO, living abroad is not easy at all, may be there's more money here but you need to do loads of sacrifices to settle here. I missed everything about Phils that's one thing for sure.
when I read this thread I thought it's about the Philippines. And how good the filipinas are but it seems it gone OT.well typical Filipina sometime that made them unique having a CRAB MENTALITY attitude..
anyway, this thread also conclude me some members here are show off, some doesn't.so just wondering why some filipino's who's saying that they love the philippines but still applied for a fiancee visa and leave their children?
hey guys, don't get me wrong here..Happy New Year..
It's All In The Name Of LOVE.

Right. Yes thats wonderful to hear from you that it will kill you leaving your kids behind. As they say, when it comes to a "Love of a Mother to her children" every mother wants the best for her kids, right? All mother wants her children to be happy and mother knows best eka nga... hehehehe.
I have another question, if you dont mind, Where are your kids? Are you in the UK?
u too seems to be a nice person as well, lol
I hope so
So just wanted to know more about you http://filipinaroses.com/showthread....9803#post39803 ,
After 3 months u log on and quickly bang this hot thread , u made me think you
You know, why I asked you if you have kids it because,
if for instance you have kids from your previous marriage are you going to take them with you to the UK even the kids tell you that they want to stay here in the Philippines because they are happier to stay with their Grandparents in familiar surrounding?
Or you will just ignore their wishes and still take them unhappy to the UK?
Of course you will likely to grant their wishes to stay. Anyway, its either they will decide to settle with you to UK in the future or you will come back here to visit them or to stay here permanently when your hubby retired from work.
Of course, it is a big question mark if her child is still small baby, but unlikely, because if the Filipina has kids from previous relationships, mostly the kids are already grown up, unless that Filipina is still pregnant when she started to have relationship with her British BF of course she has to take the baby with her to the UK.
The fact is hundred thousands of Filipina mother left her kids behind to work abroad to be able her to give her children a better life.
