    Joined eventually

    Hello, after months of being an anonymous user, I have decided to register (albiet to ask a question).
    So anyway i'm Rick from Doncaster in the UK, and met my wonderful Filipina girlfriend when we were working together in South America on Cruise Ships. Thankfully now we've both left that world, but i'm stilll working away :-(
    Just had VFS complete the visit visa appcliation yesterday, so waiting anxiously. Thankfully she was in the UK last year with a business visa, so that might make things easier :-)

    Thank you to everyone here for your great informative posts, i'm certain it comes in useful for a lot of people.

    Well it depends what your doing on the cruise ships; but i'm working on a fleet of Superyachts now which is a little smoother, and lots more time off.

    Haha, I suppose in comparison to some of the 100,000 tonne cruise ships I kept in a straight line before, these are little babies! But much more fun.
