Seiko - "some day all watches will be made this way" - famous last words, i'm surprised their still going, been wearing my Seiko watch everyday for nearly 20 years, still in excellent condition

I had a seiko automatic for 36 years never let me down until its death.

I currently have a seiko kinetic, I have had this watch for about 8 years, I had it serviced 4 years ago because it would not hold its charge.
It is again not holding its charge, therefore needs servicing, the service charge is more than a new automatic seiko, that's why I am going back to using one
