    we got our visa today!!

After waiting over 8 weeks for the NSO marriage certificate i was starting to get stressed over visa process.

we applied for the visa on nov 27th 08 and today the 15th jan 09 my wife unexpectedly got IT we was expecting to wait awhile longer so we are both surprised and shocked

my wife was so happy she called me on yahoo and was so excited at getting the visa so soon and coming here(she still as to pack)but also sad about leaving

theres seems many people are getting there visas granted this month on this forum,so if you havent got yours yet just hang in there

and i would like to thank this forum and members for giving there advice

Congratulations. I am sure you are dancing like your avatar!!!

Another successful story! Were you applying for a fiance or spouse visa? It seems like spouse (NCO Marriage Certificate).

Now, it seems to me that maybe the Spose visas are being processed quicker than fiance? This is not a criticism, but maybe a spouse visa is more straightforward (easier to convince people you are man and wife).

Shayla, don't get too concerned yet. Some here waited 10-12 weeks, just maybe some applications take longer to process for whatever reason. Don't read negative into that. Although, in 3 weeks, we are in exactly your position, so remind me to practice what I preach! Good luck Shayla.

    Hi Andy,

I know some here waited longer than I thought and still got their visa in the end so I'm hoping next week or few weeks from now mine will be same as it's granted too. Well yes I'm stressed but I will be fine after few days!..

    Thank you!

yes its a spouse visa,i guess your right theres less to prove and go through and check, the visa as 2 years and 3 months so we have have upto 3 months before the 2 years start but she will be here by march

It's good to have money and the things that money can buy, but it's good to check up once in a while to make sure you haven't lost the things that money can't buy.
