    well done liza
It's good to have money and the things that money can buy, but it's good to check up once in a while to make sure you haven't lost the things that money can't buy.

    Hi Liza,

When did you arrived in the UK?
Its says in the guidelines in applying for ILR:

If you entered the UK with
a visa as a partner, the 2-year period to be completed
runs from the date on which you entered the UK.

    Goodluck

Have a look in your passport and check the expiration of your visa.

    Hi Liza,

So you entered uk on sept 19, 2007. By june 20, 09 when ur visa expired that makes you 21 months in the uk Im not really sure but you're case but it is clear in the guidelines.

I would suggest phone the HO

    Goodluck

hello sorry for my late reply, i have phone in the HO,and they have told me that it is instead of 24 months it is now 27 months from the date of my visa, not from when i arrive in the UK,
EG I get my visa June 2007 but come here to Sept 2007,he also told me
to make sure that my application along with my cheque of £750 was in his office one week before they end of June 2009
he said the rules have changed and they are not made very clear.
