Sorry to be a harbinger of bad news, but this appeared on the news this morning, and I thought of your obvious distress at having to do without the occasional chocolate bar....

Shocking!! Very disappointed!
Not an expert, I only try to help.
In the article, it says "we hope less strict vegetarians, will eat our products".
Surely a vegetarian, is a vegetarian, no distinction.
I was a vegetarian for 3 1/2 years, in my early twenties. I eat it now, but still have pangs of guilt occasionally, about the way some animals are treated.
I'm not sure I'll eat there products anymore though?
ta for the warning dom, being a veggy for more than 25yrs, i always thought some of them had egg and god knows what in them , so i've never bought them, only one i might have bought was a bounty
as for a vegetarian being a vegetarian, some eat sweets with gelatine in, some will eat products with eggs or cheese, or even fish. i'm more of a vegan than a veggy only animals products i eat/drink is a bit of milk or yoghurt.
