Phill financial institutions seem to have as many issues with I.T, as British Train companies have with timekeeping
Oh lord why did you make so many clothes and shoe shops

They are moving at the moment and "The Online Remittance Service will not be operational between 22nd until 27th January 2009."

My wife had to phone them up earlier (needed to send money today) and had real problems trying to get to speak to someone.

Phoning PNB, or venturing inside either of PNB's two London Branchs is never a smooth operation. The best was when i was cut off seven times in one call.

Be intresting as remittance dries up both in volume and quanity due to OFWs leaving the UK and they have to provide a better service to keep up figures and accounts kept how well they can perform if they tried to be more efficent?

Oh that's how it explain why kukupops can't access the page, we were trying to view exchange rate page but it says page can not display.
He supposed to register but a bit dopey on how it goes and seems the page is not fully working
so he ended up WU again gave him 63.87 rate yesterday

Anyway he will just phone PNB next time

I was just about to post the same question - I tried to go to the online remittance site last night, and again this morning.

The main website (www.pnbeurope.com) is still working, but that appears to be hosted by clara. I guess this means that the remittance host (www.pnbeonline.co.uk) is actually in the PNB offices. The office is on the move, so the machine (and internet connections) will be moving too. Perhaps it would be easier to phone the Notting Hill branch ....

Has he properly registered with PNB? It's never use to be as easy as just registering online - you had to provide them with proof of identity, etc.

Looking at one wife's call log on her mobile phone it was the Notting Hill branch she got through to in the end, but she had already tried that number a lot of times as well.

Not yet we're just viewing the website, then it so happened mostly some links can not display but we viewed the necessary documents to be needed like photocopy of his passport or driving license, does it need to be signed by a solitor? (certify copy)

I hope next time he can do it, to save even just a few exchange rate at WU not good and besides the WU near my shop was closed due for their contract finished at ML Lhuiller

I think it needs to be certified - we took our original documents into the PNB branch in London and got the person there to certify them.

Make sure your redial button is in good working order and you have a nice soothing Ice tea nearby when attempting this operation
