    Yes

Yes, that's the actual Embassy, which only "mans" the VISA desk for 2 hours per day.
Otherwise they refer you to the VFS site ..... hence the problem.

    But appreciate the help

    Mrs M

... I'm calling VFS to clarrify a couple of points re: fiance application form

And also to confirm price (now) of visa.
The 20% move in the Forex rate means I now pay close to £600 !

Obviously the British Embassy could answer, but the 2hr window a day (open 5am -7am GMT) does cause problems.

VFS MUST have a local number ... it's just not on their website.

(Sorry guys/girls.... all the paperwork for the visa is ready, my docs just arrived in Davao... and I WANT it to succeed without problems.... Anxious I guess)

    Bluebird Jones,

I remember someone posted a number here (in the last few months) for contacting the VFS. I also remember, in a frantic rush in December, calling the VFS to confirm a rearranged appointment.

The two numbers on my Mobile Phone Bill for December are

    006328582398
    006327593556

    Hope this helps.

I will say, though, that the best way is to get your fiance to call from there. 32 pesos a minute is a downside, but you get more help and assistance.

While looking for a contact number to call the courier that they use (www.2go-express.com.ph/products/courier.asp), I came accross a reference number for UKVACS (+63 2) 751 3750.

Have not tried to call it so not sure if its correct.
