The gov't and the church are always fighting like dogs and cats although they have different Rules and Law. But the gov't is always the looser as they go to church and pray at the end of the day.Originally Posted by cheesewiz
why the Philippine gov't can't do something about this DIVORCE LAW since ANNULMENT is for people who are willing to spend arms and legs to get one. If two people are not happy living in one house as a couple so set them free. Catholic church should never interfere with gov't (of course moral issues will be the main problem again). If you are legally separated with your wife/husband then you are living with someone again people think you are immoral bec living w/o marriage is immoral thing to do for many filipinos unless you are in showbusiness world that many filipinos think that's acceptable.
