Visa doesn't "kick-in" until 15 April..... the research I did indicated 8 weeks as the "mean" period,
so we pitched for a date 8 weeks' forward of the application.
But it gives us time to organise her affairs, close up loose ends, and hopefully get a cheaper ticket.
Yes, she's travelling on her own. but have already told her not to use the outside comfort room !cud be drugs
